*A Mother's Advice to Her Beautiful Daughter ❣️*

Source: TodayFeedsMedia

My beloved daughter,
I am glad that finally, you have seen the man you have always wanted to be with.
You were so selective that at a point, I felt you wouldn't be getting married until you are old, too old to find someone your heart really desires.
When you came home and broke the news of your engagement to me, I was filled with joy.
Your eyes said it all. Of a truth, you have finally found the one you love.
Just before you walk down the aisle, please have these few words stamped on the walls of your heart. Don't ever let them go.
If you want to experience bliss and joy in marriage, then these words must have a special aboard in you.
~ Marriage is not for babies. I know you are just 24, but that doesn't mean you are 24 in your thinking.
The moment you say “I do" , a lot of expectations would be placed on you. You will be looked upon to perform the work of a wife, mother, and even more.
~ Your husband is your number one priority. Serve him, honour him, respect him and watch him treat you like the queen you are.
Don't try to rub shoulders with your man. Don't listen to all these modern day fem1nist, they won't help your marriage grow.
~ Don't lose yourself in marriage. I know the visions in your heart, don't allow child bearing and motherhood to steal those visions away from you.
Rest when you need to, but don't relax. Don't become complacent.
~ Your husband is a good man, and you are a wonderful person too, but don't forget that marriage is the coming together of two imperfect people to create a perfect bond. Your husband is not perfect, neither are you. Create a large space in your heart to accommodate his mistakes. Don't ever use his past against him.
~ A man's first love language is respect. You see s3x? He can get it anywhere if he is not disciplined. You see food? He can choose to eat outside if he doesn't have the willpower.
But you see respect? Aaaaah! If you want to keep the flames in your marriage burning, don't joke with the leadership of your man. Accord him the respect he deserves and you will see him shower you with unending love.

I love you dear daughter, and I know your marriage will be an expression of God's glory and splendour.
I will miss you and all that you are to me, to your dad and to the rest of the family.
Your marriage will thrive 🌹
